One vote per video!

-Viewer votes determine the winning video for the monthly contest.

–NakedPizzaDelivery select the winner videos based on the average vote score.

-All votes are final at the end of the voting period.

-Final votes are reviwed carefully to ensure a fair contest before announcing the winners.

-All members are still allowed to vote even after the voting period; however, these votes will not count to determine the winner videos.

-Winners will be announced two or three days after the end of the contest.

Naturally, all videos submitted early will receive more votes throughout the Contest, but it doesn’t mean that the number of votes (or the number of viewers) will be significant to select the winner. The effect of 20 “FIVE stars” votes on a video which has a total of 30 votes is much higher compared to the effect on a video which has a total of 50 or 60 votes.

Example:

Your video can get 4.9 out of 5 based on 20 ratings, but your video can also get 3.0 out of 5 based on 60 ratings. That said, it’s not the number of votes what make the submitter a winner, it’s the average of votes, no matter whether it was submitted the first day or the last day.

How about the cheaters?

-What happens when a submitter gives every other submitter 1 star? Do those votes count? Nope, they don’t.

-Each viewer is entitled to one vote per video. Any additional votes coming from the same IP are filtered and ignored.

-Our rating filters monitor every single user/member from the moment a viewer enters the Contest pages until he leaves.

There are many other patterns we look for, including switching IPs and other criteria which we obviously should not mention in public.
